What have you learned from your audience feedback?

Information

We held a Film premiere after school and invited many staff members, as well as students (which were our target audience) to come and enjoy an evening of watching different horror film trailers.

Here is the picture of the invite we were given to hand out to many people, so that they could attend our evening.

Conclusion

As you can see, we had 14 people from the audience that said they ‘Yes’ they would go to see the film and we had 10 people that answered ‘Maybe’. I believe these results are really good, because it shows that there is a fair amount of people wanting to go see our film, with only 2 people saying that they wouldn’t go to watch the film, which is still good feedback because it shows that people were being truthful and realistic with the results that they give us. Also, the reasons that some people put down as to why they wouldn't want to watch the film was because it was too gruesome for them, or it was too scary which is very good feedback because our whole aim for the genre was to be gruesome and scary so having people say this in the questionnaire we gave out, is excellent.

A big amount of the audience said they would go and watch the film based on our magazine cover and poster, and the reasons for this are stated in the video of our premiere evening.

Overall, I believe the feedback we got from our audience is very good, because we have realistic results and they are positive based on all three of the promotional packages (film trailer, magazine cover and poster).
