THE VILLAGE OF EZE , FRANCE

Eze village - located in the mountains near Nice on the road in Monaco. It is a medieval city on rock and broken at the pinnacle of the exotic garden . Surprisingly , about a place they know , not all French . But

the power of experience and the beauty of panoramic views from this place nothing compares !The picturesque medieval village of Eze, has become a real gem of French Cote d'Azur.

The village was founded in 600 BC, when the municipality shepherds organized settlement here.The main part of Eze , which exists to this day , was established in the 10th century . Each building is

decorated with great attention to detail.Some historians believe that the name of this ancient village is connected with the name of an ancient

Egyptian goddess Isis , while others believe that it comes from the Latin visia or Avisium - as in ancient Rome called observation points in the mountains.

The fortress , built during the time of Caesar, like an eagle's nest, perched on a cliff height of 427 m above sea level.

The ancient village , living in agriculture, in the XIV century was the citadel of Guelph.Narrow streets , giving a picturesque village, steep climb up the hill and leads to the White Penitents

chapel and the church - the monuments , certainly deserving of attention.In an exotic botanical garden gaze of visitors gathered here appear different plants.

On a picturesque path , lined with olive trees and pines, you can go down to the bottom " rails " - a steep cliff above the sea-shore.
