How Are Directors Chosen?
• Now when it comes to producing a music video, a commissioner from the record label sends a track to 5-10 directors. Then the director submits their treatment and they do not get paid for this.
• The director who is has submitted the best treatment out of the rest is then chosen to make the music video. That’s when the director is the paid.
