Master Italian Glassblower Signoretto created only two versions of the 108 kg masterpiece La Quadriga: one owned by a European aristocrat and the other by an Indonesian businessman.

Four 17 kg immaculate black Arabian horses pulling a Centurion-driven chariot on a 40 plus kg base of glass bricks lit from underneath by three incandescent white tubes of light. The romantic story of the four horses in the history of Venice, Italy, is captured by the glass masterpiece.Getting Started with Templates

The Quadriga is a chariot (or fast two-wheeled wagon) pulled by four horses, led in various events dall'auriga.

The chariot race (shown as tthrippon) was one of the competitions of the Olympic Games and later held chariot races in the circus. It is the wagon in which they are often depicted gods and heroes in ancient Greece and ancient Rome. The first that seems to have led a golden chariot in triumph in ancient Rome, was second Floro, the fifth king, Tarquinio Prisco. The god Apollo driving a chariot in the sky representing the chariot of the sun.

The Quadriga is most frequently represented in profile, while later also appear frontal views. Especially in Roman times become a traditional symbol of triumph or victory and fame and as such appears frequently represented in imperial, such as in the sculptures that were raised over the triumphal arches. The use has continued in modern triumphal arches.
