Development of inlay card

For the inlay card, we wanted toUse the same theme as the frontcover and the back cover of the album, that is keeping the image black and whiteand leaving only the balloons andthe artist in colour. The black and white gives it a simplisticapproach and we chose this backgroundimage because it relates to the last sceneof the music video when she lets theballoons go.

The next step in the developmentwas placing the image of the artistonto the background image ofthe park scenery. In this image we are depicting the image of a jazz/soul artist and we had done thatThrough her choice of clothing consisting of a mini black dress, the black connoting classiness andthe overall look sophistication, similar to the artists you would find in the same area of music.

The next step was to add an image ofthe balloons onto this image tocreate the look that is to be shownlater.

The finals steps in achieving the overall look of the inlay card was taking the imageof the balloons and cutting them into individual ones and then separating them intothe desired position that is at the top of the overall image. It was placed there to symbolise the name of the song that is “Floating around”.
