1. Similar Products – music video analysisYasmin has completed a good level of analysis and presents her consideration of music video theory. Excellent analysis of chosen video. Great application of Goodwin.

This could be developed slightly to include further detail. Yasmin has completed detailed analysis of similar digi packs as well as presenting her own practice digi pack - excellent ICT skills demonstrated within this work. Excellent digipak and poster annotations and analysis. The genre research could have been more detailed and could contain more examples and visuals.

4. Annotated lyricsYasmin has completed this area - further ideas could have been presented on this work. Although the ideas discussed are clear. A clear sense of ideas come through. Good use of Godwin’s theory in acknowledging a need to create strong links between the lyrics and the visuals.

Teachers commentsYasmin has produced constantly good work throughout the pre-production process. Yasmin is organised and presents work that is clear and concise. In the majority Yasmin’s work is at a proficient standard with some excellent work completed. Yasmin could improve with a more detailed production schedule, a storyboard which demonstrates higher levels of creative skills and further details on plans for actors. Overall very good work.Level 315 marks

Yasmin your blog needs the ‘labels’ gadget to make it easier to navigate. Your work should be organized into clear areas: Theory, Preliminary Tasks, Pre-production, Production and Evaluation. Each post also needs to be clearly labelled into these areas. Please sort this so the examiner can find your work. Work has been improved in several areas and is now to an excellent standard. If props, equipment and genre research were improved further a higher grade could be awarded.
