Now that we know the vital scenes that will be used in our trailer, we need to discuss all the important aspects that need to be thought of. Things like mise-en-scene, costumes and locations that will be used. If we have a written plan for all these things it means we can go by it and ensure that our scenes will be perfect have everything they need, instead of being spontaneous and doing it all as we go along. With this plan, when it comes to doing the scenes we can look at it and make sure we have everything we need.

One of the scenes we are going to use is the ultimate scene where we meet the unknown antagonist of the movie, we meet them in their hide out. To begin with we will be using tracking shots to follow there feet walking, once the antagonist has stopped we will use a crab shot to slowly go up his body, till we see what they are looking at, which is the wall in front of them with all his soon to be victims images on the wall. A long shot will then be used to show the whole scene of them standing in front of the wall, they will be holding a weapon to with blood on it.

Location: Mise-en-scene: • candles (to create low key lighting and the eerie feel)• Pictures of people that are going to be killed, pinned to wall.• Chairs (possible)• Boxes on the floor, just to make the room look more deserted and messy.

Characters in the scene:Antagonist (Killer) Costume:All black or dark clothingBoots or black trainersWaterproof coat with hood up

Props:Knife or weapon (optional)

Victim 1, to be killed in trailer: Running in the woods away from antagonist, action shots will be used to show her movements through the woods. The shot will then change where she is then being dragged across the leafy ground, it will be a semi close up where you will not see the antagonist.

Location: ForestMise en scene: Nothing apart from fact that location is in woods.Characters in shot: Victim running from antagonist (antagonist not seen)Costume: simple clothing appropriate to weather.

Our second victim gets stabbed by the antagonist (however we will not actually see the antagonist kill them.) The soon to be victim will be cooking in their kitchen (possibly on the phone) when the lights begin to flicker slightly and a door bangs alerting the victim that someone is in the house. The victim will look concerned and we will go to a different viewpoint (angle) where we see on the wall a shadow of the antagonist holding a knife up to stab the victim. We will hear a scream and then go to a shot of the victim on the floor stabbed.

Location: KitchenMise-en-scene: • normal kitchen scenery• Making it look like the victim is cooking

Characters in the scene:Only the victim in their kitchen.

Costume: Home wear, can be anything from pyjamas to casual clothing

Props: cooking equipmentPossibly a phone for the victim to be talking to someone to make the scene look more realistic.

The third victim will be strangled in their car. We will do a shot were the victim is walking to their car. The next shot will be of the victim in their car, getting ready to drive to their chosen destination. We will then see hands grab a type of scarf and grab it around the victims neck.

Location: Car parkMise-en-scene: usual sceneryCharacters in scene: third victimCostume: either be casual clothing or business clothing as if victim is coming from work.

4th victim: this victim we wont actually see we will simply just see their hand on a window which will be bloody, leaving a smeared print on the glass.

Location: Could be a simple window or a glassed shower simply to show the death of yet another victim.Characters in scene: Only one who we will not actually see.

There will be no costumes or mise-en-scene as all we will see of this character is their hand movement on the glass.

This scene will most definitely be featured at the end of the trailer. It will be back in the antagonists ‘lair’ the girl will be tied up in the lair where they will be the first speech within the trailer.

Location: at the same location as the first sceneMise-en-scene: same as the first sceneCharacters in scene: Antagonist and final girl.Costume: Antagonist- same clothing as first sceneFinal Girl- dirtied clothes and dirtied face (possible blood)Props: ropes
