Mahindra & Mahindra has launched a sports edition of their best selling SUV

Mahindra XUV 500 in India. The limited edition XUV 500 comes with the same

2.2Litre mHawk diesel engine with a displacement of 2179CC coupled with 6-

speed manual transmission which churns out 140bhp of power along-with

330Nm of torque @ 1600-2800rpm.

Mahindra XUV 500 gives a mileage of 12kmpl in City and 15.1kmpl on the

highways.

The XUV500 Sportz edition is launched with some cosmetic updates on the

exterior and interior. Exterior updates include body decals, new alloy wheels,

red colored roof rails and door handles, graphics on the bonnet, large

windscreen on the rear with spoiler, sportz badge at the rear etc. On the

other hand the interior updates include leather fabric upholstery, holders for

both cup and bottle, armrest, steering wheel wrapped with fine leather, seat

belt notification, door ajar warning, headlamps on warning, tachometer and

the list keeps goes on.
