The new four-wheel-independent MacPherson struts with Euro-Ride

Tuning Suspension makes your Chevrolet Optra grip the road in all circumstances.

The Dual Control Arm Suspension system with coil springs, gas

shock-absorbers and anti-roll bars at the front and Dual Link Suspension at the

rear radically enhance handling. Preventing roll and giving a

smooth ride in all road conditions – steep inclines, sharp curves or

rugged terrain – luxury is foremost.

Chevrolet Optra has passed all the stringent internationally

recognized tests. It is guaranteed to offer optimum safety,

in case of a 64 km/h collision, by the Insurance Institute of

Highway Safety under the American Insurance Association.

One Hundred & Ninety Chevrolet Optras were crash tested across

the world. Chevrolet Optra went through 1.8 million kilometers

of durability, inclement weather adjustment and mountain

performance tests in the USA, United Kingdom, Australia, Spain

and Sweden. Nearly 40% of the trunk is made from hexagonal

steel structural beams which are designed to absorb shock.

This makes the interior incredibly safe. That’s why it is

referred to as the “Survival Zone”. The stabilizing effect

of anti-roll bars on the Dual Control Arm makes handling

The revolutionary Total Noise Restraint System (TNRS) utilizes an insulated

engine cover and a hydraulic engine mount to help absorb shock and reduce

engine noise when starting, accelerating or braking. The Chevrolet Optra is

equipped with a “Maintenance Free Battery” which is self charging and

does not require battery water refills. The exhaust system is equipped with

three chambers and a special noise suppression system in the tailpipe.

A sound-absorbent foam is applied to all joints throughout the vehicle

and helps make your journey more pleasant, relaxed and peaceful.
