HEATH PARK MOVIES

FAde In: EXT. - HEATH PARK – (morning 8am)

Alex (main character) is walking to school in the morning alone, when a complete stranger approaches him.

DEALER:

Hey, hey wait wait……

Close up shot of the pill.

ALEX KING:

Who are you? –

(He is paranoid and aggressive).

Close up of his face as he is given the pill.

DEALER:

You’re about to have the day of your life. Just take it

Tracking shot of the two characters that highlights the Dealers superiority.

INT. HEATHPARK Corridor Floor 1 –(Morning 9am)

DISSOLVE TO:

At this point King puts the Pill back into his pocket as he walks to his first lesson and he is trying to block out, the mornings events.

Mid shot of Alex as he walks further and further away from him.

Tracking shot - KING walking down to corridor contemplating (foreshadowing). Close up shot of Alex talking the pill as he walking casually.

King having a conversation with a stranger (other student) that he doesn’t know.

ALEX KING:

What did you say?

(In a condescending tone)

ADAM JONES:

Mate, you’re just dreaming

(Looks in amazement)

ALEX KING:

This is just great, isn’t it.

(Throw’s folder).

Cut away: TO CLASSROOM 105.

Close up shot – Of the clock on the wall, then to KINGS textbook as he crosses things out and regrets talking the pill.

ALEX KING:

What are we doing?

INT. HEATHPARK CLASSROOM ROOM 105 (Flashback - Heath Park at 2pm the morning before).

ADAM JONES:

Oh, OK. Great

INT. HEATH PARK – CORRIDOR (FLOOR 2) 12pm – King falls over and is unconscious.

Alex Jones collapses and his face hits the floor.

INT. HEATHPARK CLASSROOM ROOM 105 (10pm)– Corridor Back to present day.

ALEX KING:

Hi, you all right

(In a frightened manner)

ADAM JONES:

Yeah… Yeah mate!

(As he sits down at his table ready for his next lesson).

ALEX KING:

hmmmmm

(Hastily)

Alex falls due to the effects of the pill.

DISSOLVE TO:

Int. HEATHPARK CLASSROOM (ROOM 105)(2:19pm)

STUDENTS:

What happened to KING, Where’s Alex..

Flash forward: CUT TO THE HOSPITAL SEQUENCE.

INT. Hospital sequence - hospital room – (Morning 11am) – King is in bed recovering.

Mid shot of his medication – King is shaking and hears constant voices in his head.

TEACHER:

Alex isn’t in today… Is he?

(In a rush, gets up to do the register)

ADAM JONES:

Nah, he’s in hospital, Sir!

TEACHER:

Poor child, he’s completely lost it

(Goes over to help a child)

The teacher starts the lesson.

ALEX KING:

Heeyy

Speaking to himself in his sleep.

He slowly opens his eyes in the hospital bed.

Cut to back: A flashback sequence of KING in the Room 105.

DEALER:

Your not intelligent

ALEX KING:

Just can’t do this anymore!

(shouted out in an aggressive manner).

Close up shots to show his emotions state and a POV shot from his desk.

EXT. CORONATION ROAD (3PM after school).

The Dealer is walking on the other side of the road as he spots Alex.

DEALER:

I’m not surprised

(Looks hysterically)

He is walking back looking in his directly as he spots in in a crowd of people.

DEALER:

I’m just telling you that…

Dealer smirks and looks back to in KING’S direction.

Cut to Flash forwarded: Back to the hospital sequence.

INT. NHS - Hospital WARD bed – (Morning 11am)

Close up of the sign of the building.

DISSOLVE TO:

Close up – Heart monitor Stops and the ambulance arrives outside.

Cut to black as the door closes.

END SCENE: CREDITS FOLLOW.
