Recognize and Repair the Complicated Parts Efficiently
Know Your Golf Cart If you are having problems with your golf cart, powered by electricity, then there can be several reasons.
Learning how to troubleshoot your electric golf car can help you determine any problem at an early stage.
Troubleshoot Solenoid
A solenoid is the insulated wire wound on your electric golf car
Put the key in ignition, press the accelerator
If hear a clicking sound, means solenoid is working
If hear click, then check for loose cables
Press down on the accelerator again, and if it is still not a click, then the solenoid should be replaced
Check Controller Check the speed of the golf car
Check there are no loose cables in the controller
Tighten the lose wires
If there are black marks, replace it
Engine Health
Look at the engine of your EV
check for loose cables
Spin drive belt to check resistance
If lack resistance, then it has seized
Axis of the unit is completely broken
Replace the engine immediately
Battery
Different golf cart manufacturers use rechargeable batteries
Troubleshooting:
Make sure the terminals are clean and tight
Use mixture of plain water and baking soda for cleaning
Check how much water left in the battery
Make sure the distilled water is covering plates
The meter should read between 15 and 20 amps
