All New Maruti Celerio – CNG Variant

The Indian car market leader Maruti has launched the eco-friendly vehicle Celerio Green: It is CNG powered, fitted with Intelligence Gas Port Injection technology and it delivers a fuel efficiency of 31.79 km/kg. Celerio Green is launched with an attractive price of Rs4.68 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the Maruti Celerio CNG Variant (Green) is also available on the VXi trim –Transmission type Manual.

The response to this new Celerio CNG variant is tremendous. By launchingthis bi-fuel CNG variant Maruti has strengthen its Brand and Sales. This idea

has helped and offered more fuel choices to the customers. With the IGPI technology fitted in Celerio Green customer gets the benefit Smooth driving and hassle free maintenance.

In Celerio Green the Compress natural gas tank is placed in the boot of the car, and

Maruti has not yet informed that how much space does it eats in the boot space.

Celerio Green is launched with the same 1.0 litre 3-Cylinder K-Series engine which is

capable of producing 68PS and 90NM of torque in Petrol mode while in CNG mode it

produce 59PS and 78NM of torque. The driver can change the fuel modes through the

switch place on the dashboard.

The Marti Celerio Green tank features a leak proof design and included harness for

added safety. The suspension of Celerio Gree is modified to counterbalance the

additional load at the rear.

There is no changes in the interior except the CNG knob in the dashboard and the

features remains the same as the Celerio petrol variant.
