The Sortimo HD components are predominantly made of composite material. This is unique on the market of van racking systems and offers many benefits for you! But what is behind the construction material composite?

Fibre composite is a fibre-reinforced material made of high-quality fibres and resin. Today, fibre-reinforced materials are applied in the automobile industry when combining light weight construction with extreme strain. Innovative vehicle concepts, the sports car industry, the development of the Formula 1 and many high-technology industries have been relying on fibre-reinforced composites for many years.

We at Sortimo had recognised the outstanding characteristics of this unique construction material at a very early stage as well. With a great deal of effort we have managed, over the last years, to develop a manufacturing method for components made of composite material, which gives us the possibility to offer you this material at the best price-performance ratio.

All fibre-reinforced composites are manufactured at our headquarter in Zusmarshausen, Germany, in Europe‘s most modern manufacturing facility for van racking systems.

Sortimo composites are ultra-high resilient, very lightweight, easy to clean and have a smooth surface, which is extremely robust, not sensitive and scratch-proof. In addition, Sortimo composite parts are extremely resistant to oils, petrol, bases, acids and further chemicals.
