I have always thought that I would one day like to be able to have some very nice looking rims put on my vehicle.

Unfortunately, I am a college student, so finances are tight.

Page 3: Vehicle & Rims Selection

With that said though once I graduate, and have a better paying position I will definitely be considering the different considerations for the rims I will have installed on my car.

Page 4: Vehicle & Rims Selection

With that said for those of you who are in the market for a nice pair of rims I would like to educate you on the

numerous considerations that you will need to be aware of.

Page 5: Vehicle & Rims Selection

One of the first things that a buyer should consider is the color of the rims they want to purchase.

Page 6: Vehicle & Rims Selection

With that said some drivers may want to stick to a simple silver color rim, or be a bit more adventurous and select a

color that match the color of the rest of their vehicle.

Page 7: Vehicle & Rims Selection

With the color selected the next aspect to consider is the features of the rims.

Page 8: Vehicle & Rims Selection

A driver must consider if they want the rims to sparkle or have some kind of insignia on them.

Page 9: Vehicle & Rims Selection

These features may have an additional fee associated with them, so buyers who are a bit more financial sensitive may

want to avoid looking at these kinds of rims.

The first size is probably the most commonly known and that is the diameter of the rim.

Page 11: Vehicle & Rims Selection

The most common sizes for these are 16 inches and 17 inches.

Page 12: Vehicle & Rims Selection

The second size is the width of the rim the smaller the size the more narrow the rim and vice versa.

Page 13: Vehicle & Rims Selection

The third size and the one most people do not know is the offset of the rim.

Page 14: Vehicle & Rims Selection

The offset is the distance from the mounting point to the inside edge of the rim.

Page 15: Vehicle & Rims Selection

The offset is probably the most important size to check.

Page 16: Vehicle & Rims Selection

If it is too small the tire could be hitting the inside of the fender well or not even reach the studs to be mounted.

Page 17: Vehicle & Rims Selection

While on the other hand, if the size is too big the tire could be poking out way too far past the fenders.

When you are shopping for new rims for your car the most important part to anyone is probably the look that you

want your car to have.

Page 19: Vehicle & Rims Selection

Remember though not every style of rim will fit your car, so first check the sizing that you need to fit then go through

and check the style.

In conclusion, prospective consumers of rims should be able to identify the different colors, features, and size that they

are looking for in their purchase.
