1. How to log in to your account

Here’s where you can see the jobs that were sent to you,

the ones you quoted on and the ones you’ve won.

Click here to search for extra work a little further afield or outside of your

3. How to apply for leads that are sent to you

Make sure you have selected ‘Job Alerts’

These three options let you view full details,

apply, or dismiss the alert

Hover your mouse here to see what we will charge you if you win the work (around £11inc VAT on

average)

• We will regularly email and text you with new leads in your area• To apply for the job, click on the link in the email or text, and go to ‘My

Jobs’. Alternatively, go directly to www.whocanfixmycar.com/mechanics/myjobs (as shown below)

3. Applying (continued)

Be thorough! Tell people what you’re going to do, the parts/labour split, your experience and anything else that might

set you apart from the competition

Price fairly – you don’t need to be the cheapest but you need to be realistic

Be fast! If you want to win the work, the quicker you can apply for the job the

better

4. Messages, calls and closing the deal!

• Once you’ve applied, drivers may well message you to ask for more info (we’ll email you if they do, so keep an eye on your emails.)

• Remember, once you’ve applied, the driver’s phone no. is revealed and you can call them to clarify things and even book them in there and then!

1. To access the jobs you’ve applied for, use the drop-down menu on the ‘My Jobs’ page and select ‘Applied

for’. You can then click on the jobs to view your application, messages etc.

2. If you or the driver has sent a message (asking a question for example) they will appear here. To reply, just

type your response into the box and click ‘Send reply’. Remember to reply quickly and to give a detailed

response.3. You can always call the customer once you’ve applied for the job if

you prefer (note where their number is shown here.)

5. Finding extra work on WhoCanFixMyCar

• Our most successful garages win extra work further afield or outside of their core business, and so can you!

• From your main login screen, you can click on ‘Find jobs’ to view all leads on a map view.

1. Use the drop-down menus to select the job type and/or brands you want to view, and enter your town or postcode.

2. From here you can apply for jobs just as you would for a regular ‘Job alert’

that came to you via email.

6. Our ‘top tips’ for success

With job numbers increasing every week, there’s plenty of work to be had on WhoCanFixMyCar.com – our most successful garages how now won over £50k of work with us!! Here are a few tips to help you catch them up.

1. Reply quickly! When you see a job alert in your inbox, reply as fast as you can. Many of our drivers just want to get their issue sorted fast, and some of our garages now respond within minutes.

2. Be thorough! When you’re applying, don’t just give a price. Tell them what you’ll do, the labour/parts split, your experience, and anything else that will help drivers choose you.

3. Follow up with a phone call once you’ve applied, to make sure the driver has no extra questions.

4. Make sure to request feedback once you’ve won the work. Lots of positive reviews will make it easier to win work in the future.
