Cobra lived an ordinary life until his enemies began to hunt him down. Cobra surgically alters his face and erases his own memory to hide from his enemies. Cobra gradually regains his memories and unites with his old partner Lady Armaroid and his ship Tortuga. Later in his adventures, Cobrameets the Royal sisters whose map-tattoos lead to treasure.

Strategy # 1 : Be united within yourself

Be united within yourself;feel harmonized in your purpose. If you are focusedand single-minded, you willsucceed.

Strategy # 2 : Be flexible in fighting

Be flexible in how you fightyour opponent. Be preparedto change your strategy andtactics according to the prevailing situation.

Strategy # 3 : Fool your opponent

Use deception to fool your opponent. Use feints and diversions to confuse and unsettle him. Appear to be disorientated and confused, then strike!

Strategy # 4 : Hide your strategy

Keep your strategy hiddenbefore you fight. Appear quiet and inscrutable.

Strategy # 6 : Have a plan of action

Have a plan of action before hand, based on all the calculations you havemade from evaluating a range of factors that willhave a bearing on your ability to win. Implement this plan, but be preparedto change it as required 

Strategy # 7 : Do not deplete your energy reserves

Do not deplete your energy reserves during the fight. Aprolonged bout may pleasethe crowd, but may not helpyou win. Be mindful of depleted strength defeating you!

Strategy # 8 : Attack your opponent’s weakness

Attack your opponent's weakness, not his strength. Try not to engage him in a prolonged struggle, instead seek to subdue him by striking at his vulnerability.

Strategy # 9 : Find information about your opponent

Seek to know your opponent by finding out as much as possible about his capabilities, skill andtraining. Gather as much intelligence asyou can about him.

Strategy # 10 : Know yourself!!!

As ever, know your opponent... but alsoknow yourself! If youknow about both of these factors, then youcould win every fight you compete in!

Strategy is a necessity when dealing with conflict and solving problems. Winning your fight is a 'problem' in itself, therefore having a good strategy is a pre-requisite. Use these 10 strategic principles, inspired by Sun Tzu's 'Art of War', that you could bear in mind and adopt when fighting in the Octagon!!! Fight like Mister Cobra!!!
