• Your first failure makes you think hopeless and helpless and your emotional imbalance at that time reflect you very differently than, what you really are

• What you learn from your business is good, but what you learn from volunteer leadership (by working for non profit organizations) is GREAT
• VOLUNTEER LEADERSHIP HELPS YOU TO GROW IN YOUR CAREER

• You never get the people with the passion, energy and attitude what you look for. You need to get the work done with available people
• LEARN TO GET THE BEST FROM ORDINARY PEOPLE

• Your Body Language plays a very key role for your success
• BE MINDFUL, PEOPLE OBSERVE YOU, WITHOUT YOU EVEN NOTICING THEM

• If 60% of your team accept you as a leader, you are great, do not expect 100% acceptance
• DON’T BE GOOD WITH EVERYBODY AT THE COST OF ORGANIZATION

• I knew one language called Telugu when I started my career, I probably gave 1000s of speeches/presentations voluntarily to hone my speaking skills
• PRACTICE & DRIVE OUT FEAR

• When you join a new company at senior position, first three months you just listen, observe and get accepted by people. Next three months show the results • PEOPLE ACCEPT YOU ONLY
WHEN YOU HAVE GOOD ATTITUDE & ABILITY

• There are always few (sometimes more) negative forces work against you at business. Sensing them and controlling them proactively is an art • UNDERSTAND ECOSYSTEM
AND LEARN TO MANAGE

•When you THINK BIG, most of the people ridicule you, believe in your thinking and move forward
• TRUST YOURSELVES

• If you do not take Ownership, Accountability, Responsibility, Sense of Urgency, please do not accept any leadership role
• KNOW YOUR STRENGTH AND TAKE UP THE ROLE

• Your confidence and ability multiplies many times when you regularly share your knowledge with others, mentor others, coach others
• LEADER AS TEACHER

• Self Branding is very essential ingredient in today’s world, but do it in a very professional manner
•WALK THE TALK and THEN TALK THE WALK

• Everybody (literally everybody) look for What is in it for me? Understand & manage effectively
• MANAGE HIDDEN AGENDAS = “WHAT IS IN IT FOR ME”

• You might be having great passion, energy and focus, but do not except same from others!
• TUNE YOUR FREQUENCY ..ONE FREQUENCY DOES NOT WORK

• Many people tell lies (always), be smart to know what is right and what is wrong!
• BELIEVE IT WHEN YOU SEE IT .. DO NOT GO JUST BY WORDS

• You know that you are right (100%), but others do not accept it due to some reasons (!!!).. do not get trapped …
• LEARN TO MANAGE SITUATIONS

• Do not challenge your boss publically, even he/she is wrong! You will taste the failure
• LEARN THE ART OF MANAGING BOSS

• If you hate to listen issues, risks raised by your team, never take-up a leadership role
• LEARN TO EMBRACE CHALLENGES

• Your confidence, knowledge on a subject and assertive nature create insecurity to your peers and few times to your boss too
HANDLE WITH CARE

• In immature organizations Whatever great work you do for many years will be nullified with one mistake
