Ancillary magazine making process

Conventions of a magazine that I used in my magazine.

•Big mast head•Curly writing which is aimed at the target audience•Mast head in the center of the forehead

•Large heading and small subheading of main feature, linking to star•Two different colours, minimal

• Minimal features•Features on the right hand side•Heading and subheading

• Subheading near the masthead which expands the brand.•Subheading is memorable

After researching the types of magazines, I decided to base mine on Fabulous. Unlike tv choice, Fabulous is not a trashy magazine but again unlike tv and satellite is not a formal magazine. It is in between the two, meaning it is accessible to both lower and upper class. I chose this as its a fun magazine, which is aimed at my target audience and also because it reflects the upper middle class that is reflected in my trailer.

I used photo shop to enhance the contrast and brightness levels.I did this so that the stars features and makeup were more enhanced. This was important as her makeup reflects her personality, which tells the audience how to feel.
