First impressions are everlasting and for this reason it is important to select a door of good quality and workmanship.
Kiln dried wood for the manufacture of front doors is very important. This eliminates internal strain in the wood.
The construction of the door must be of such nature that provision is made for expansion and contraction of the wood according to weather conditions.
Attention must be given to the type of tenon joints used to keep the styles and rails together. Closed and/or mortise-end tenon joints are not very affective.
All doors are designed according to the clients specifications and taste.
Glass is now a high fashion medium that can be used with wood in various art form, whether it is for front doors, internal doors, sidelights etc to compliment the house.
We use 16.5mm to 22mm glass in the manufacturing of our glass products. The design is carved 3D into the glass and sealed with a security glass.
