TreatmentAvensol Corporate Movie
The ClientAvensol is a solar power solution company operating in Switzerland in the business and residential market, offering turn-key solutions in this area.
The Challenge
To create a differentiated and emotional f lagship movie for the new website, targeted to the residential market.
The ConceptAfter analyzing Avensol ’s main competitors, and peers in other countries, we noticed that the main focus is normally on the technical side of the product, followed by the f inancial issues.
In order to create a different movie, aiming to standout in this market, the concept has been thought on focusing on the relationship between ENERGY, SUN and PEOPLE as a part of a whole, NATURE.
The Concept
We (PEOLPE) are all a part of NATURE, as we are dependent on it, since NATURE is Life. We’re responsible on how we affect it and the climate.
On the other hand we are ENERGY and ENERGY is Life. Man (PEOPLE) is dependente on its production.
The unavoidable future is in renewable energy sources (SUN), creating a balanced, sustainable and responsible symbioses between man and the natural world.
The MovieThe movie shall be composed by random shots that wil l i l lustrate the various elements of the concept (ENERGY, SUN, PEOPLE and NATURE), edited with shots of a beginning to end residential solar power installation, accompanied by music and an emotional and touching narration.
The Movie
We’ll see shots of:
- Plants, animals, dirt, water, sun.
- The ful l process of an Avensol installation, from case analysis to installation conclusion and its clients.
- People interacting with ever yday energy dependente items, with each other, with nature, doing physically demanding tasks.
The AestheticsThe aesthetic of the shots wil l var y between Extreme Wide Shots (aerial shots) and Extreme Close-ups. Close-ups and Mid-shots make up the bulk of the movie.
Shallow depth-of-f ield wil l dominate the shots.
Camera movements wil l be: - Organic (handheld);- Fluid (sl ided);- and Quick (aerial shots).
The use of slow-motion a possibil ity.
The edit wil l have a fast pace without being frantic, slowing down when necessar y, and wil l have a logic narrative cadency.
The use of motion graphics or any other post-production effects should be to a minimum in order to maintain the humanization concept of the movie.
The Production
Production wil l be developed between Switzerland and Portugal. The solar power installation process, clients, landscapes, some nature and aerial shots wil l be shot in Switzerland, while all other shots wil l be possible to do in Portugal, saving costs in production.
The movie wil l be shot with DSLR cameras with high-end prime lenses and using Avensol ’s DJI Phantom 2 Vision for aerial shots.
