Introduction

It is my aim to start a business of my own right after my graduation. I want to start a business of

spa and beauty salon in UAE. Noor Spa and Beauty Salon will be known for its exceptional

luxurious beauty services at reasonable prices which will be affordable by women of every age

in UAE. Beauty interest me and I want to see everyone beautiful that is why I want to pursue this

business in future.

To be a successful women known for outstanding beauty and styling services in UAE. To

achieve a global recognition through Noor spa and beauty salon.

1.1 My three Goals

1. Get position on my work in August (2018).

2. Complete master Degree in September (2019).

3. Open my business in November (2019).

The market of UAE in terms of the beauty products is growing rapidly. According to Euro

Monitor, retail value of personal care and beauty is approximately USD 1.64 billion which is

because of the growing consciousness of the UAE residents about beauty and style (Rana, 2016).

It has been predicted that the Spa tourism in UAE is likely to grow significantly in future as the

number of visitors is going to be double by 2017 (Khaleejtimes.com, 2015). These statistics

shows that there is a great opportunity for me to avail in the spa and beauty salon market..

2.1 My Positioning statement

High quality services of spa and beauty salons, offering services of massages, skin treatment,

hair treatment and styling with all related services for the ladies for their casual and special look.

2.2 Convincing Values

My spa and beauty salon will be a great addition to the beauty and salon market of UAE because

of luxurious and high quality services at affordable rates.

2.3 What differentiates me from other UAE students?

I am quite passionate for the personal care and maintenance and that is why I want to transform

my personal idea of beauty and maintenance into a profession. I am more concerned about

beauty with affordability as many people think that spa and beauty services are costly. I aim to

change this perception through my business.

3.1 Risk

Opening a spa and beauty salon is not easy in UAE, it will have following risks:

High cost of material

Financial Barriers to open in expo

Intense competition

In order to minimize the potential risk, following are the mitigation strategies of my business

plan:

A detailed market research to analyze the level of competition in the spa and beauty salons

market

Meeting with beauty experts and salon owners in order to understand the potential risks

Developing contingency plans to arrange l investors to start the business

My hair stylist is one of the renowned professional in UAE. He inspires me because of his

expertise and successful business.

2. My Friend

A friend of mine started a business of spa some years ago in Malaysia. She is successfully

running her business of spa in Malaysia. She can be a great mentor as she is working in a

different culture.

3. My deceased aunt

She was a great support for me. She used to work in a beauty salon and had experience of many

years. She started a business of her own after that job. She inspires me to start the business of spa

and beauty salons.
