The chemicals now produced are highly specific and the manufacturers keep “eco-friendly” in mind always.
We know chemicals are necessary to have certain properties in the final product, like PBDE’s for fire retardants, PFOA’s for stain protection, formaldehyde resins for crease resistance. But these chemicals have been proven to cause genetic mutation in mammals, thus carcinogenic. Do we have any other options?
