The success story of Coffeeway stores begins in

1994 when the first store opened in Kolonaki,

Athens: a modern and elegant store, the first to

offer a big variety of all types of coffees.

Coffeeway stores revolutionalized the Greek retail

coffee market and set the trend for what would later

be called “specialty coffee shop”.

Coffeeway stores, apart from all types of coffees,

also offer a big selection of tea from all over the

world, chocolate drinks as well as chocolates,

home-made cookies, confectionaries, honey, etc.

One can also find a big variety of products used for

the preparation, storage and consumption of coffee

and tea.

Honorary Awards

In 2002, Coffee Connection S.A. was awarded by the

Greek Trade Federation, the Greek Retail Enterprise

Association and the “Retail Business” magazine, the

«Rising Star 2002» award, for being the most

innovative and promising Greek company of the year.

“Superbrands” is the new independent organization that identifies and pays tribute to

leading brands all over the world.

This important award verifies the fact that Coffeeway is classified among the most

acknowledged, highly recognizable, widely appreciated, leading brands in consumers’

perception, and pays tribute to the pioneering effort of a Greek company in the field of

coffee.

Superbrands programmes, originated in the U.K. almost ten

yearsa ago, now operate in over 50 countries, including all the

key global markets. Superbands was launched in Greece for

In an abundance of domestic and world famous brands (2.000

brands initially considered, from 39 categories), “Coffeeway”

was voted by consumers and the independent Superbands

The opening of the first Coffeeway specialty shop by Coffee Connection S.A. back in

1994, marked a “revolution” in the Greek coffee market! The gradual development of
