Itami Airport: The Facts• Itami Airport is

also called Osaka International Airport.

• Although it has an international title it deals with almost all domestic flights. International flights were transferred to Kansai Airport

• Itami Airport was the second airport planed in Osaka after the first plans for a seaplane airport were scrapped in 1931.

Shinkansen!

• The First shinkansen were made in 1964 and had a top speed of 210km/h, the ones used now days have a top speed of 300km/h and has a stopping time of 3m45s.

• There have been no fatal crashes or derailments on the shinkansen’s record since it first began in 1964.

• The Shinkansen had about a 10s average delay when it started operating but in 2004 it increased to a whopping 45s.
