The outdoor terminations, for 66-230kV are available forboth the EPR-based rubber stress relief cone with an epoxyhousing (so called pre-fabricated type) and the siliconerubbersleeve (so called pre-molded type).The former uses mechanical devices to maintain theinterface pressure and the latter uses elastic retention ofsilicone material itself.ln both cases, the main insulation components are fullyexamined and tested in the factory. The maximum allowablecable conductorsize is 2500mm2.Upon request of the customer, eithetporcelain or compositehollow insulatorcan be supplied.
