Libraries have traditionally existed to collect and organise information, make access to knowledgemore democratic, and preserve the record of ideas forfuture generations. Now, information is ubiquitious: 500 million web pages are just a keystroke away. Their content mutates constantly and is subject to nostructure. Google and other search engines have revolutionised the way people expect to accessinformation. How do we redefine the role of the library in such a rapidley changing context?

• Resultaten uit KB-catalogus biedt op basis van een subject de schilderijen van deze persoon in musea

• Resultaten uit KB-catalogus biedt op basis van classificatie eenzoekactie in een of meerdere gespecialiseerde databases

• Metadata naadloos bruikbaar in European (Digital) Library, Library Thing etc.
