Markets ended lower on selling pressure by foreign funds amid worries surrounding retrospective taxation with index heavyweights HDFC and ITC leading the decline.

The 30-share Sensex dropped 170 points to end at 27,226 and the 50-share Nifty lost 46 points to close at 8,240.

Highest Open Interest was seen in 8500 and 8400 Call Option looking as a resistance levelfor nifty and in the down side highest open interest was seen in 8200 and 8300 put lookingas a major support level for Nifty.

Highest OI increase w.r.t to increase in price was seen in AXIS BANK APRIL 2015 andHighest OI increase w.r.t to decrease in price was seen in SSLT APRIL 2015 contract
