Developing and Maintaining the ClearQuest Schemas

The concept of this project is to identify and remotely satisfy market needs in the sphere of software development using IBM Rational tools.

CM-Consult, LLC provides a large number of remote services within the Rational-Tools.com project:

1. Develop and maintain the ClearQuest schemas of any complexity 1. Perform primary development of new ClearQuest schema. 2. Add features and capabilities upon customers' and users' requests. 3. Maintain and perform regular upgrades of a ClearQuest implementation that

includes all change request types (defect, task…). 4. Perform management under ClearQuest/ClearCase and another systems

integration and Unified Change Management. 5. Improve of the ClearQuest performance.

2. Manage Perl and Basic scripts 1. Enhance ClearQuest schema (using original ClearQuest solutions). 2. Optimize scripts for the extended performance.

3. Perform administrative functions 1. Transfer user databases. 2. Manage ClearQuest Multisite. 3. Import and export data. 4. Create public queries, charts, and reports. 5. Setup security controls. 6. Create and manage e-mail rules, and perform integration with MS Outlook or IBM

Lotus Notes. 7. Migrate ClearQuest Schema and User Database on most RDBMS (Oracle, DB2,

MS SQL). 8. Setup exchange of user data between databases. 9. Integrate ClearQuest with HP Servise Desk, ERP and more. 10. Perform migration from competitive systems (PVCS tracker, Jira, and more)

to IBM Rational ClearQuest. 4. Assist with designing project reporting

1. Design and adjust reports using Crystal Reports. 2. Design and adjust reports using Excel. 3. Design and adjust reports using Project Console. 4. Design and adjust reports using SoDA. 5. Design and adjust reports using custom scripts (htm, csv). 6. Develop a process for producing scheduled reports using MS Excel, SharePoint or

Crystal Reports, assist in reporting project metrics to the management. 5. Prepare technical and project documentation

1. Prepare and maintain user guides and manuals.




2. Prepare release notes related to any schema upgrades. 3. Prepare and support process overview in Rational Method Composer. 4. Develop process documentation (CM Plan).

Expertise:

More than 14 years of software development expertise. More than 8 years of expertise and qualification in Configuration Management and IBM

Rational tools. More than 25 successful projects for implementing IBM Rational and Microsoft tools,

and over 600 qualified specialists. Experience in developing applications using Perl ClearQuest and other Rational tools. Experience in administering ClearQuest under Rational UCM (Unified Change

Management). Significant experience with ClearQuest customization using VB Scripting and PERL.
