Dr. James Hickey: A Glance at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Walk Events

St. Jude Children’s Hospital has many engaging fundraising events in cities nationwide. The Family Walk

Events are held in November in approximately 90 communities, such as those in the state of New York.

These events provide a chance for families and friends to sign up and raise money to support the

mission of the hospital.

Individuals may start or join a team by visiting the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital website.

Through the site, individuals can set up a fundraising web page or recruit others to join the walk. In

addition to the satisfaction of raising funds for the hospital, participants may also be entered to earn

prizes if they raise specific amounts.

About Dr. James Hickey: Dean of Academic Affairs at The Pennington School, Dr. James Hickey also

supports charitable activities such as St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Prior to joining The Pennington School,

Dr. Hickey served as a Principal at Old Bridge Public School in New Jersey. An experienced educational

administrator, he holds a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Policy from Fordham University.
