Our History

Opened the doors of its first office in January 2002 in Millstone Lane, Leicester.

Founding Directors – Greg Latham, Chris Hockey and Ian Briers.

They were instrumental in the management of Staffline Recruitment, a large industrial supplier of temporary staff based in the midlands.

They became disillusioned soon after an MBO, so decided to recreate the successful formula of giving priority to staff and protecting margins.

They are experienced individuals who wanted to do more of the same, again – so Encore was born.

Presently the company turns over in excess of £35 million, with over 2000 workers at 400+ companies throughout the Midlands

Investment in Marketing has meant the Encore Engage newsletter is dispatched to over 15,000 decision makers monthly

IT has a prominent role within Encore with bespoke systems both internally and for clients

Offerings to clients including Online timesheets, Online Induction Videos and an Online Client Portal

Basic SalaryWe review annually and consistently prove to pay at an average or higher than the industry average across all job functions.

Bonus PaymentsPayable to all. Even non sales staff have opportunity to earn through unique profit share scheme.

HolidaysIndustry beating - Starting at 25 days per annum to 28 days after 5 years service and 30 days after 10 years service.

Suggestion SchemeAll employees are invited to submit suggestions for improvement of company practice/procedures and staff morale for cash rewards.

Annual Awards and ConferenceThis is the culmination of the business year with a glittering event previously held in Dublin, Edinburgh and Wales. Employees are considered for 8 awards with Prizes including a Holiday of Lifetime for the ‘Salesperson of the Year’.

Voluntary Work One day per year available to all staff for the purpose of charitable activities during business hours without incurring financial loss.

Joker Card Half day holiday to be given if nil absenteeism in preceding 6 month period. Allocation periods to be 1 Jan to 31June and 1July to 31 Dec annually.

Half day holiday on birthdaysAll staff have the option to take a half day off on the birthday as a thank you from the directors.

Social EventsStaff social events are arranged each year including the Encore Olympics.

Charity Dress Down DaysStaff are given the option to dress down and donate towards the nominated Encore Charity.
