Assisting those in the Grand Traverse, Michigan, area, the Father Fred Foundation aims to help families in financial need after they have run out of state or federal assistance. The families can receive food, shelter, household needs, clothing, and financial aid, all thanks to the foundation. Named after Father Edwin "Fred" Frederick, the organization is not a Catholic organization but a private charity.

Founded in 1988, the Father Fred Foundation's mission is to ensure that nobody slips through the cracks. It does this by having members who listen, care, and share about the community. The charity boasts low overhead costs, thanks in part to the more than 150 volunteers. In 2012, the foundation helped more than 6,000 families.

As an active and involved member in his community, Adam Greene, CPA, is a supporter of the Father Fred Foundation and is a partner at Greene & Company, LLP, based out of Melville, NY. Adam Greene has more than 25 years of experience in the accounting business serving the construction industry.
