Financial Controller

Nikon Europe B.V. focuses on the Imaging Business, which covers digital/film cameras, lenses and accessories. The European Headquarters coordinates and supports all business activities across Nikon’s European markets. We are recruiting a Financial Controller. Are you looking for the next step in your career? You are working along with the Business Planning team but you should have an independent working style. Do you have a minimum of 3-4 years as a Financial Controller? Supporting structured and systematic budgeting and reporting for Nikon Europe B.V. (as a “local” company) and improves the accuracy and reliability of Nikon Europe B.V. internal budgeting

Controlling the Marketing Communication Budget

Preparing and analyzing the true profitability of Nikon subsidiaries within Europe

Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual management reports

Preparing comprehensive and consolidated profit, budget and forecast analyses and presenting this to the Management level

Supporting the Management in business decisions

Acting as a liaison for communication with the internal auditors

Requirements:

Master or Bachelor in Finance, Business Administration or Equivalent

Experience within an auditing company is a must have

3 – 4 years of experience in a similar role within an international environment, preferable in consumer goods

Distinctive knowledge and understanding of financial key figures and the correlation with management control

Experience in implementing and developing controlling tools, processes and management information systems, preferable SAP

Expert in SAP FI/CO and Hyperion

Knowledge about IFRS

Previous experience in consolidation is beneficial

Excellent verbal and written English skills

Strong analytical skills

Real team player with a positive attitude

Initiative taker

Proactive in problem solving and setting priorities
