Walkers, bikers or horseriders might find forestry operations noisy and dangerous

Some older plantations were arranged in straight lines – not very scenic

Sheep very much like to eat young saplings ... Not very helpful if you are trying to grow a forest

What can happen …

People who smoke – or anyone with matches – are a real danger to forests. Dry wood catches fire so fast.
