The graph shows the yearly growth of NSCC’s Total Assets. Between 2008 and 2009, there is a recorded increase of 28.55%, 37.38% for 2010, 44.80% in 2011 and 19.08% for 2012. 2011, marks the highest increase because of the establishment of NSCC Plaza. 2012 recorded the least of increase; however, the target on its assets for the year 2012 amounting to 654M was achieved. This accomplishment created different opportunities for the cooperative as this manifests a strong and progressive network of cooperatives. NSCC is committed to continue working hard for the increase of assets because of the target to hit OneBillion Pesos (Php 1,000,000,000.00)by year 2015.

The financial services of NSCC is being patronized well by its members as evidenced by the yearly increase of the loan exposure. This 2012 a remarkable growth of20.42% or Php 99,508,755.00 is achieved.

The graph shows how its members demonstrate their loyalty and trust to NSCC through deposits. There was a net growth of 49.56M on its Time Deposits and 15.58M on its Savings Deposits. For the year end, Time Deposits hit the rate of 26.04% while the generation of Savings Deposits marked a 39.41% increase. The increase in deposits prove the ongoing trust and confidence of members to NSCC’s operation and the coop is likewise doing its best to safeguard their money.

Equity grew by 22.64M or equivalent to 31.82% for the year 2012. In its five-year comparative figures, 2012 marks the

highest increase compared to previous years from 2011 down to 2008 because of high share capital generation.

The growth of share capital for 2012 manifests the increasing trust of cooperatives to NSCC and likewise the rising number of cooperatives that are willing to be affiliated with NSCC.2012 marks a highest increase of 41.90% compared to 2011.

The graph shows the NSCC’s actual Net Surplus for five years. Its yearly target for Net Surplus has always been realized. Year 2012 recorded 14.970M Net Surplus, an increase of 2.81M or 23.16%.

BOD MEMBER - GENDER CONGRESS REPRESENTATIVE NATIONAL CONFEDERATION OF COOPERATIVES (NATCCO) NATCCO is the biggest and strongest national federation of cooperatives in the country in terms of geographical reach, membership, financial capacity, and array of services. She was elected as Board of Director of NATCCO being an elected Gender Congress Representative.

REGIONAL SECTORAL REPRESENTATIVE OF COOPERATIVES NATIONAL ANTI-POVERTY COMMISSION (NAPC) AND THE REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL (RDC) The National Anti-Poverty Commission, by virtue of Republic Act 8425 or the Social Reform and Poverty Alleviation Act, institutionalized the participation of basic sectors in helping the government on its programs for poverty alleviation. The CEO represents the cooperative sector in Region 1 in NAPC and Regional Development Council.

VICE-CHAIRPERSON – ICA-APREGIONAL WOMEN COMMITTEE (ASIA AND PACIFIC) The International Co-operative Alliance [ICA] came to Asia Pacific Region with the establishment of the Regional Office & Education Center for South-East Asia in 1960 as a result of the discussions that had taken place at the various Congresses of the Alliance since 1948. At these discussions, ways and means were explored to bring the national Co-operative Movements in the developing countries closer to the Alliance and also to seize the global challenge of contributing through the instrument of Cooperation, to the social and economic development of the developing countries

PRESIDENT REGION I AND CAR MICRO FINANCE COUNCIL Nueva Segovia Consortium of Cooperatives is a member of the Region 1 and CAR Microfinance Council, a conglomeration of micro finance players and institutions in the whole Region 1 and Cordillera Region. The group holds a regular meeting to discuss issues regarding micro finance and conducts trainings to enhance their services.

SECTORAL REPRESENTATIVE for COOPERATIVES IN REGION 1 NATIONAL ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY (NEDA) The CEO represents the cooperative sector in different meetings and activities of the NATIONAL ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY (NEDA) Region 1.

OTHER POSITIONS: VICE-PRESIDENT REGIONAL COOPERATIVE DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL – REGION 1 RCDC SHALL ACT AS THE ADVISORY BODY OF THE COOPERATIVE DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY ON MATTERS OF POLICIES, PLANS ANDPROGRAMS ON COOPERATIVES PRESIDENT COOPERATIVE MANAGERS’ CLUB OF ILOCOS SUR The cooperative managers and leaders of different cooperatives in Ilocos Sur organized a group to discuss and resolve issues regarding their responsibilities and to implement different trainings and projects to enhance services of cooperatives and to benefit the cooperative movement of the Province.
