So you’re thinking about owning your own franchise. Great! We love to hear it! We’re excited for you to be a part of the Hot Dog on a Stick family. But we want to make sure

you’re prepared.

Our best franchisees do their research on what it takes to run a business. If you asked a handful of them which qualities they value in

a business owner, many of them would include passion and confidence in the list.

Topics of Discussion

1. Passion

2. Confidence

1. No one wants to run a business they don’t care about. Maybe you’re passionate about sports or fashion, or hopefully in our case—hot dogs! The best franchise to own is one that you care about. If you’re really interested in opening a Hot Dog on a Stick franchise, and you’re not very familiar with

the product or excited about it, do some research and find something that excites

Maybe it’s the fun quirky uniforms. Or maybe you just love the classic comfort foods we offer. We know there’s a lot to be excited about when it comes to our franchises, but we want you to figure that out for yourself. And once you’re running a business you’re passionate

about, be sure to tell your friends. Invite them to eat at your restaurant. Get

them excited too!cc: Thomas Hawk - https://www.flickr.com/photos/51035555243@N01

2. Although you might not have the experience of a lifelong franchise owner, you can gain the confidence you need with a little

hard work. It’s important to be able to face the challenges you will encounter with a

determined, knowledgeable attitude. This will not only show corporate that you’re serious

about your venture, it will show your employees that you are responsible and that

you value your business.
