As a makeup artist, you must understand that product knowledge is an integral part of your business. You need to have basic information on products generally by understanding product formulation which includes the benefit, features and advantage and integrate all these factors into the need of the prospect.

As a makeup artist, you must exude a great deal of power (power in this context means active representation of self) and learn to communicate for this is the only way you can pass a relevant message about yourself and what you sell.
