You have to find a good market for your product/service
Who are your ideal customers?

2nd Question: Do I have to have my own product/service to start an online business?
The short answer is no
If you already own a small business offline (such as a shop, contracting service, etc.), then you could use a website to serve as your 24/7 salesperson
If you have no product/service at all, then you could sell other people's products/services as an affiliate

3rd Question: What is affiliate marketing, and how does this differ from network marketing?
Affiliate marketing refers to promoting and selling other people's products/services for a commission

Network marketing opportunities often require an upfront investment of some sort, and you are often expected to sell both the product/service AND the business opportunity
On the other hand, it's free most of the time to become an affiliate for another company you're basically a commission only salesperson (if you don't make any affiliate sales, then you don't make money)
4th Question: What is the difference between using a free website and one that I have to pay for?
Free website services often limit you in the templates or services you can use
Some of them won't let you conduct any business or ecommerce on them
With a paid website, you have your own domain name (yourwebsite.com)
It's like owning your own piece of online real estate you can do almost whatever you want and put whatever you want on your own website
Having your own website also gives you a more professional appearance (it shows that you mean business)
5th Question: What else can I do to ensure my online success?
Be willing and ready to invest in your online success (such as registering your own domain name, establishing your own hosting account, etc.)
Keep the long term in mind; you might be disappointed if you expect immediate success
Keep learning and growing; things are constantly changing on the Internet (especially with SEO)
Above all, take consistent action plan your work, then work your plan
