Mission

A mission statement tells us what the purpose of the organization is.

It specifies what activities the organization pursues, what course management has charted for its future and how it will achieve them.

It includes: Who the organization is.

What it does.

Who the company/organization serves.

Vision A vision statement is a vivid, guiding image of the organization’s desired

future.

It is the ultimate picture of what the leadership envisions for the organization.

The key to a strong vision statement, is for it to create the same image for all stakeholders.
