Business Incubators

“A controlled environment that fosters the care, growth, and protection of a new venture at an early stage before it is ready for

traditional means of self-sustaining operation. In today’s world, where information technology and the Internet are normal parts of

the business environment the term “controlled environment” could be either physical (real estate and office facilities) or

virtual (networks)”.

Task 1Break into teams of 5: Break into roles: Suggested roles are CEO, CTO, Product Manager, Head of sales, Head of marketing, Advisor

Problem: For the past 15 years Mark has been working in the music industry. He started as a DJ and later on continued as a “talent hunter” for one discography studio in East London. He met some of the most perspective rock bands, quartets, jazz bands and DJs in the UK. On the way, he met Linda, the girl who also worked as a “talent hunter”. Linda and Mark decided to get married, and getting a music band should have been the easiest thing to arrange. They both encountered a serious problem of how hard it actually is. It is time-consuming, unreliable and agencies charge astronomical fees.

Think of a solution for Linda and Mark
