Praxiom Risk Management, LLC John Titus Risk Management Consultant John has over 22 years of progressive risk management experience both in the private sector and the military. John is currently a consultant with Praxiom Risk Management where he works with clients in a wide range of industries to improve overall company performance through improved risk management. Prior to joining the Praxiom, John was a Risk Control Consultant for Advantec, providing risk control consulting for over 200 client companies in Texas and Illinois. During his tenure with Advantec, John also managed all Aviation Safety consulting projects throughout the U.S. John began his career in the military, where he received training and extensive management experience. His service of over 20 years included positions and responsibilities as a Ground Safety Manager, overseeing the safety and health programs for 4,200 base personnel, and Safety Manager, where he developed health and safety programs that reduced the Air Force Flight Test Center’s injury mishap rate by 68% and vehicle mishap rate by 70% for a direct savings of $200,000. Additionally, he was occupational Safety and Health Manager, managing the safety and health mishap prevention program of more than 7,000 personnel, where his efforts resulted in a 44% decrease in lost time injuries. He also served as Environmental Health and Safety Manager, overseeing the development and implementation of the Propulsion Directorate’s Environmental, Health and Safety Program for 135 laboratories and test stands, which earned him the title of Safety Professional of the Year for 2003. John also served as the Director of the United States Air Force Safety School, where he directed the daily activities of the Community College of the Air Force accredited safety courses for both military and civilian students. John has a Bachelor of Science in Professional Aeronautics from EmbryRiddle Aeronautical University and has earned Associate Degrees in Occupational Safety and Electronic Systems Technology. He is a past member of the Texas Workers’ Compensation Commission, and Professional Safety Source, Austin, Texas, and is a professional member of the American Society of Safety Engineers. John also served as an Associate Professor at Palo Alto Community College in San Antonio, Texas.
