Symptoms of motherboard: Plug in a power adapter and try starting a laptop.

Troubleshooting motherboard issues:
Look at the “lid closed” switch and try pushing it several times. This is usually a small switch near the tip, which is pressed when the lid closes. Occasionally these swamps are stuck in the “lid closed” condition, which results in black screen (no backlight) or non-initial laptop. Apart from this, some laptops have a magnetic switch (new dell and most apple), which is not stuck.

Test the laptop with another power adapter though it is not common, the adapter can fail and can not supply the required voltage, even if it has a green “lightning” light that gives light when you plug it . Even if you measure the output voltage and it is okay then the adapter can fail and will not provide that voltage under load (usually 3.5 A to 6A) you can use a universal adapter or Go to an independent repair shop and ask them to check it (in some stores if you try to charge for “estimation”, then ask in advance).

Remove hard drive and CD / DVD if it is easily removable

Try to restart the laptop at the end, only plug into the power adapter and the RAM reset and all the removable components and batteries out. If nothing is on the screen, you will need to bring it to a repair shop.
