Final Group Presentation

My Recent Story – Health Tech at Its

Best!

A process known as Carticel

Started by taking a sample of my cartilage

The lab extracted chondrocyte cells

The cells were cryopreserved until needed, then

grown in a lab to prepare for my surgery

A local doctor then implanted those cells back into

my knee at PRMC

7 weeks later I’m walking and should be off

crutches soon
