Deflectometers E3540 Deflectometer Deflection Gauge

Product Information

Model E3540 Force 50 g typical Length 1 to 25 mm (and 0.05 to 1 in) Temperature Standard (-ST) is -40 C to +100 C

Measures deformation in three and four point bend tests and in compression testing applications. These strain gage based devices include a magnetic base for easy mounting. Note: Optional connectors available to match your test machine.

Features & Benefits

Full bridge, 350 ohm strain gaged design for compatibility with any test system.

The strain gaged unit provides an electrical output compatible with electronics

designed for a strain gaged transducer (i.e. your test machine controller).

The magnetic base furnished with the gage can be mounted to the desired flat or

round reference surface. The tip is then positioned to measure the sample

deformation.

All standard units meet existing ASTM class B-2 and ISO 9513, class 0,5

requirements for accuracy.

General purpose deflection sensor covers many test requirements.

Spring loaded arm detaches preventing damage from overtravel.

Elevated Temperature Furnace

Product Information

Model F1000

Length - Configured to match test sample length and test method requirements. The number and length of each heated zone is made to match requirements.

Diameter - Internal Diameter: The furnace ID is matched to fixture, sample size, and thermal density requirements. Diameters of 50-125 mm (2 - 5 in) are common.

Temperature - Max Various models from 500C (930F) to 1200 C (2192 F) and Minimum Temp 150 C (300 F)

Features & Benefits

Each configuration includes high temperated rated furnace with ceramic elements and a temperature control subsystem. Sample cooling is not typically associated with these furnaces.

T200 Set point controller included in base package. When the desired temperature is achieved, the temperature controller operates to hold set point values. Programmable controller is optional.

Each chamber is application engineered to meet specific load frame column space constraints, fixture and test sample space requirements, and maximum and minimum temperature requirements.

Brushed stainless steel interior shell ensures long term robust and care free usage. Heating time to reach maximum temperatures typically less than 30 minutes.

Tailored Solutions

TestResources’ innovative manufacturing methods combined with extensive engineering experience allow us to focus on the application needs of every customer. We fit the test machine to your budget and test requirements, rather than the other way around. By pulling from our vast inventory of tester designs, controllers, and software packages our engineers configure the best test equipment for your material type and form.

Next we assign a grips and fixtures specialist to design the best accessories for your machine. With thousands of grips and fixtures available, we either have what you need or we can quickly modify existing designs to get what you need. We work with the most complex down to the simplest solutions for a wide range of customers.

Universal Testing Machines

Universal electromechanical test machines are well known for their ability to perform a

wide range of quasi-static tension and compression tests at test speeds up to 40 ipm (1000

mm/min). The modular 100 series low force universal test machines are configurable with

multiple frame types at forces to 2250 lb (10 kN). The 200 series single column frames are

available in extended travels at loads up to 1125 lb (5 kN). The 300 Series machines all

feature dual column frame design with load ratings up to 600 kn (135 kip).

120 Family Dual Column Electromechanical Universal Test Machine

120 Family Dual Column Electromechanical Universal Test Machines are configured to your application at an affordable price to match your budget. The 120 Family performs quasi-static tests including tensile, compression, creep and stress relaxation. This system is the best for testing at lower forces up to 1 kN (225 lbs) in repetitive test applications. The dual column design provides increased space between columns for testing large samples or inside chambers. With the

TestResources unique modular design, load frames can be configured to your test specimen height and width requirements up to 40 inches in width.

210 Family Electromechanical Universal Test Machine

200 Series tabletop electromechanical universal test machines serve applications with forces up to 5 kN (1125 lbf) including models to handle relatively high elongation or crosshead travel requirements. Materials with high elongation properties such as rubber or elastomer, plastic thin film, medical devices (e.g. catheters), glues and adhesives require special 200 series high travel test machines. 200 Series machines are available with a variety of test controller choices to cover a wide range of interests and applications.

210 Family single column universal test machines are available with force ratings up to 1650 lbf (7 kN). The 210 includes a load cell and M controller with optional test software. Optional accessories such as grips, fixtures, chambers and high travel extensometers are matched to your test and sample geometries.

FEATURES & BENEFITS

Single column vertical load frame with

Standalone Controller and optional M Software.

Budgeting

Creating a reasonable financial budget is a common necessity for our customers and we

have extensive experience supporting the process. Many customers need price estimates

for our test equipment to assess a rough return on investment. Although TestResources

equipment is generally the cost-effective choice, compared to other manufacturers or

contracting outside testing services, we are happy to offer a quick price check to help

determine the best option for you. We understand the purchasing process and are willing

to support your requests with responsive service.

Support comes in a variety of forms. We can help you determine a budget for purchases

near term or in settings such as capital equipment budgets for the next fiscal year. Even if

your project currently lacks the details, we are skilled in supporting realistic prices

anticipated for purchases over a year away.
