My 2011 Goal, Fail Forward!

• It’s the beginning of a New Year and, like you; I have set some goals for myself and my business.

• I am going to Fail Forward Frequently! • What? Did I just say my goal was to fail? • Yes, you read that correctly. • Fear of failure is one of the greatest single obstacles to success

in adult life. • Fear of failure will keep you in your comfort zone! • Most people don’t realize the correlation between success and

failure. • In fact, failure is a prerequisite to success.

• If you also have a fear of failure, I challenge you to set goals and change your response if you do not achieve them.

• It’s okay if you don’t achieve your goals! • A lot of very happy and successful people haven’t achieved their

goals; in fact, they’ve probably missed many of their goals. • So put the fear of failure aside, set goals that inspire and motivate

you, and start moving your life in the direction you want it to go.

• It’s often by failing to achieve certain goals that we are able to achieve others.

• Don’t only measure your success by the end result, measure the progress you make during the journey.

• So if failure is the prerequisite to success, I plan to fail a lot this year to make my business a success.
