Hi guys! 01/06/09 Yesterday, we won a trip to New York in a

prize draw competition organized by of yoghourt company.

We are going to go on the 8th of January and stay there for four days.

Aida’s uncle is a taxi driver. He is going to help us to arrive at the airport in Madrid.

The arrival to New York’s going to be at about 00:30(American time) on the 7th, just to sleep in the hotel.

We are very tired and exicited. The hotel is a little grotty, but we can

survive… It’s near Central Park and the landscape

is amazing. It’s called the Widget Hotel. There is a problem…we forgot our credits

cards…in the wallet there’re only 2500€. The hotel is going to cost 104€ and the

restaurant isn’t included.

Today was an interesting day. We visited Time Square, Little Italy,

Chinatown, Empire State Building, Harlem, The Metropolitan Museum, Wall Street, Broadway and the Chrysler Building.

Tonight, we had a hot dog for dinner. After that, we went to a Jazz Club.

The money is now 2000€.

Time Square was huge!There were a lot of taxis and people. At night, the lights of the buildings are on.

Two parts of the world inside New York.

The Liberty Statue is very big! The best thing of the day was when we

saw it from a boat. Alba took a lot of pictures.

In the evening, we went shopping and walking in the famous streets of New York. The skyscrapers and the places that you can find are amazing.

In the wallet there are 800€!!!!!!

For have lunch, we played our instruments in the Metro. The people here are very generous and they gave us a lots of money.

Trinity Church, Saint Patrick, Fifth Avenue, Brooklyn and Bronx were our next visits.

In the night we went to the Brooklyn Bridge for see it and the city iluminated.

A friend that helped us in the metro playing the guitar, had three tickets for a famous Opera. It finished very late.

We spent all our money in the Rockefeller Center buying presents for our friends and for the English teacher.

The Cloisters were awesome. We walked around the city and took our last picture.

In the Newart Airport we took the plane to come back.
