the matter relating to Patents in the Official Gazette of India
Part III, Section 2 has been discontinued and instead The Official
Journal of the Patent Office is being published containing all the
activities of The Patent Office such as publication of all the
patent applications after 18th months , grant of patents & all
other information in respect of the proceedings as required under
the provisions of the Patents (Amendment) Act, 2005 and Rules
thereunder on weekly basis on every Friday. The Journal is uploaded
in the website every Friday. So Paper form and CD-ROM form of the
Journal are discontinued from 01/01/2009. SPECIAL NOTICE Every
effort is being taken to publish all the patent applications under
section 11(A) of the Patents Act. However, if duplication of

NBS in the set of NBSs through a set of active CoMP links; ranking
each NBS based on handover potential of each NBS in the set of
NBSs; and selecting a target NBS from the set of NBSs for UE
handover based on the ranking and UE support capability information
associated with each NBS, wherein a subset of the set of active
CoMP links is migrated to the target NBS during the UE handover.

relates to fluid mechanics and machinery of creating a new design
to lift water from bore wells using high pressure air as a source
to rotate a pneumatic rotor which in turn rotates the impellers to
lift water. In the present invention, an improved submersible pump
is provided which combines a pneumatic motor as the power source
with a pump of the spiral vane type adapted to provide a lifting
force to enable it to work at significant head levels for the
purpose of removing water from drill holes. In the improved design,
the cylindrical body of the pump and motor are substantially
identical in diametrical dimension to provide an elongated
structure of uniform circumference and with an external air line
connected thereto to permit powering of the motor. Another object
of this invention is to provide an improved submersible pump which
is rugged in design and capable of continuous insertion and removal
into and from drill holes without the application of special tools.
The Pneumatic submersible pump system consists of a compressor
which produces the required compressed air to operate the pneumatic
pump driving unit. The driving unit consists of blades
which.utilizes the pressure and kinetic energy of the compressed
air and converts it into mechanical work. This power is transferred
to the pumping unit by magnetic coupling which is a contactless
coupling and enables us to transmit the torque produced in the

GOBINATH (57) Abstract : A chilled cast iron tappet has specific
chemical composition of chilled iron. Manufacturing chilled cast
iron tappet with desired output is difficult in current foundry
practice. When localized area of gray cast iron is cooled rapidly
from melt, cast iron is formed at the place which is cooled and
called chilled iron. Fast cooling prevents graphite and pearlite
formation. The hardness of chilled cast iron is due to formation of
martensite. Chilled casting of tappet has gradient microstructure
of white, mottle, and grey cast iron. White cast iron has carbon in
carbide form without graphite and has Light appearance due to
absence of graphite. White cast iron is hard but brittle. The phase
transformation between white and gray cast iron called as mottle
zone containing white and grey cast iron. Mottled zone is mixture
of carbide, iron, pearlite and graphite. Gray color of fracture due

VISWANATH PRAKASH (57) Abstract : Many households prepare dough
products as part of their staple diet. Examples include chapathis,
phulkas, pooris, tortillas, nans, parottas, etc. In most of the
cases the dough is flattened and circular in shape. Presently a
circular base board and a rolling pin is used. It requires
considerable skill to produce dough of even thickness and shape
which in turn is critical for uniform cooking of the food. Also
during the process of flattening, raw flour is used for the purpose
of dusting to prevent the dough from sticking to the base or the
rolling pin. In most cases this dusting powder leaves a residue of
burnt particles on the finished food product. This invention
relates to a simple household, easy to use appliance to flatten
dough to even thickness and chosen shape consistently. The material
of construction and design will reduce or eliminate the use of
dusting flour during the process of flattening. The appliance
consists of a base board, rolling pin and sets of standard and
additional plates. The template is positioned on the base board.
Dough is placed within the template on the base board. Rolling pin
is used to spread the dough within the template. This produces
flattened dough of uniform thickness and shape. Options for
increasing the thickness or diameter or shape are provided by the
use of sets of standard and additional plates. Also provision for
placing the rolling pin during use has been designed. No. of Pages

fixture is a device to hold two or three work pieces simultaneously
maintaining required angular precision. The slider and the clamp
units along with the relative motion of the three arms allow the
mounted work pieces to attain n- dimensional degrees of freedom for
their alignment. An additional detachable segment provided in the
device gives more freedom to easily mount and remove the device and
work pieces as necessary. Angular scales are provided on the
central circular hood and on the detachable arced segment to
precisely measure the angles for the mounting of the work pieces.
The structure of the clamping fixture gives enough space to perform
welding operation from multiple directions. A uniform hexagonal
socket is provided in the head of all the drive bolts which
facilitates easy removal of work pieces using an Allen key. The
n-dimensional portable clamping fixture can be used to easily hold
work pieces required for assembly during welding operations in
desired multiple orientations. This device may bring a radical
change in the design of clamping fixtures required in various
industries like automobile, aerospace, ship building,
manufacturing, etc while increasing the accuracy of work and
