Digital economy is based on electronic goods and services produced by an electronic business and traded through electronic commerce through Information Technology. In this new economy, digital networking and communications infrastructure provide a global platform over which people and organizations devise strategies, interact, communicate, collaborate and search for information. This leads to turbulence and uncertainty in the business and consumer markets, and firms need to be adaptive to be sustainable in this economy.
