Energy Audit
Meters tell you how much electricity or gas you have used. Where are these meters
in your school?
Does someone read these meters regularly? If yes, who is it?
If you don’t already, would it be possible for students to be involved in taking and
displaying the readings?
Are all students/teachers taught to turn off computer monitors and computers
when they are not in use?
Does each class have a person responsible to turn off computers and other electrical
equipment?
Do you often see computers and interactive whiteboards left on when people are not
using them? You could monitor this over the next week.
