The Growth Of Private Sector:-

• The phenomenal growth of private sector of India can be attributed to political will, financial reforms, usage of more advanced technology.

• The 7-8 % of annual GDP growth rate India is the one of the highest growth rate in the world. The last 15 years witnessed a phenomenal rise of the growth of private sector in India.

• The transformation of healthcare has been so phenomenal that patients from all over the world, even from developed countries, choose to come to India.

• The best thing that has happened to the overall Indian market with the growth of private sector is that it has helped to shed bureaucracy and lengthy official process.

• In a study of World Bank projects operating in India , Kamran Abbasi makes it clear that lack of funding in the public healthcare sector translates into inadequate quality of service.

• The World Bank reported in 2002 that irrespective of income class, one episode of hospitalization is estimated to account for 58% of per capita annual expenditure, pushing 2.2% of the population below the poverty line.

• Education in its broadest sense is any act or experience that has a formative effect on the mind , character , or physical ability of an individual.

• According to the 2011 census, the total literacy rate in India is 74.04 per cent. The female literacy rate is 65.46 per cent and male literacy rate is 82.14 per cent

• Need for Marketing Educational services Need to “market” their services has not really been felt by the educational sector This is because there is always Demand>Supply But in the recent years, there is a shift in trends

• Large number of institutions for specialized fields have been set up in the recent years for fields like Management and computer education. This has lead to increase in competition.
