Social media checklist

DESCRIPTION

During initial discussions with potential clients, I have received great praise on my own marketing strategies, receiving such comments as, "I love what you have incorporated into your LinkedIn profile" or "I love how all your links connect so seamlessly to each other and how you have all the buttons on your blog and website, so I can easily navigate to your Facebook page and your Twitter profile". Typically, they go on to state that they wish they had the same type of set-up for their own business. It is in response to these comments that I decided to create this checklist.

I’ll not be modest here – I can really make a difference to your business life if you are not yet on board

with Social Media or are still needing help – through my own experience using Social Media for my

business and hours and hours of research, I have become an expert, and can walk you through it in plain

English and get you comfortable with a full understanding of the “platforms” and all the other “buzz

words”, eliminate your fears and let you know exactly what will benefit your particular business. I can

teach you how to stay current and what you will need to do on an ongoing basis; alternatively, if you

don’t have the time, at a reasonable cost you can hire me, and I or one of my specialist team will handle

the work for you.

BUT WITHOUT ANY UP-FRONT EXPENSE RIGHT HERE IN ONE DOCUMENT I AM PROVIDING A

LIST I AUTHORED OF ALL THE MAIN WAYS SOCIAL MEDIA IS USED.

Since you are reading this, you will have already seen some of the Social Media output of my own

company, A Virtual Assistant 4 You. Please take a good look through this website and notice ways I use

Social Media to enhance my business and personal image, and keep it vibrant, relative and active. It

attracts new clients and impresses existing clients, many of whom I have since helped with their own

online presence by creating Facebook Pages, Twitter Accounts, LinkedIn Profiles, Newsletters, Blogs, etc.

All of these and other platforms I use to great effect – no one can afford to ignore how essential Social

Media is today.

Wouldn’t it feel great to be praised for your Social Media presence, with potential clients as well as

existing clients making such comments as “I love what you have incorporated into your LinkedIn Profile” or

“It’s great how all your links connect so seamlessly to each other” and “Having all the buttons on your blog

and website make it easy to navigate to your Facebook Page and your Twitter Profile”? These are examples

of comments made to clients who have followed my guidance.

If you are not already set up with Social Media or are just dabbling in it, I expect it all seems very

daunting, but you don’t need to do it all. We can talk about your business and choose the Social Media

platforms that make sense, and then figure out if you can manage them in-house or whether you would

be better off using my company’s services. In the meantime, start by studying the check list on the

following three pages, and feel free to contact me.
